Like A Punch To The Face

The sun had set,
Only moon light shown through now.
The windows with the black and red
Curtains that hung loosely all around.
She should have known that it wasn't a
Good thing that Jackson was here.
Dimitri's family almost never visited
Without some warning,
Without some kind of arrangements.

It's only been a few hours,
Since Master Dimitri walked through the front door.
In a bad mood, with but one
Thing on his mind.
Seeing Jackson,
Reclined on a dinning room chair,
Sent the wrong message and
Vibe through the air.
"My apologies, my pet." Master Dimitri said.

He was standing in front of her,
Lilly sitting on the marble kitchen counter.
"You should have ducked." He said with an
All too serious tone.
Making her laugh and nod.
"Next time, sorry Ma…" she was cut off
By the feeling of Dimitri's lips
Pressed against hers.
Like liquid fire that cleared her mind.

She forgot about her busted lip,
When he pulled away she couldn't hide
The bright smile.
It was his stern look that made her look towards
The door frame where Jackson stood.
How long had he been there?
Jackson stood there
Watching them, with his own bleeding lip, and
A forming black eye.

That was why he had kissed her,
All because he didn't want her to call him Master.
That was the hardest part about
His family visiting them.
One slip of the lip and she'd
Be in more trouble then a
Clawless kitten in a very deep hole.
"I'm sorry Ms. Lilly, I wasn't aiming for ya." Jackson's voice remorseful,


Lilly looked away from him,
As Master Dimitri handed her a damp cloth.
Holding it to her mouth,
She watched as her Master turned to his uncle.
"You shouldn't be swinging blindly
With her in the room. You got off easy."
He sounded irritated,
Just enough that only Lilly caught it.
"She's fine." Jackson said with a roll of the eyes.

"You damaged her." Bad choice of words,
On Master Dimitri's behalf.
Jackson laughed it off,
As if Master Dimitri had
Mixed up his English once again.
Not like anyone was about to correct him.
"Boy you need to go back to that fancy school,
Your ma sent ya to. Get that woman's money back."
Jackson said with a smirk.

It was hard to believe that there
Was only six years between
Master Dimitri and him.
Jackson being older that is,
Guess that's why no matter how
Much Jackson and Master Dimitri fought,
They would always be friends deep down.
More like long time brothers,
Then nephew and uncle.

As Lilly placed the damp cloth to
Her bleeding lip,
Jackson's voice became very serious.
"We better go, Ms. Lilly as always it's been a pleasure,
Thank you much for the food."
Lilly had her eyes on her Master,
As he pointed towards the door without
Jackson noticing the slight hand movement,
Lilly slid off the counter.

Without a word,
She stepped past Jackson and
Ran off towards the dinning room.
Sounds of her gathering dishes and cleaning up
Echoed from the room.
"She only talks to you." Jackson said as he
Watched Lilly clean up.
Master Dimitri walked over to the door frame,
"She talks to Oma and my mother." Master Dimitri said with a grin.

Jackson shook his head,
"That's not what I meant."
Master Dimitri pushed him out of the way,
Going to get his jacket.
Lilly moving between the dinning room and
Kitchen, cleaning up as she goes.
"Mind your own Jackson,
Before I lay you out again."
Jackson laughed at his comment, heading out the door.

Lilly stopped when she heard Jackson
Close the door behind him.
Master Dimitri was sliding on his shoes,
Lilly hurrying over to him.
Barely stopping before he had his hand on her face,
Forcing her eyes to meet his.
"Listen well oh slave of mine, Lock the door,
Finish cleaning up, and be ready when I get back."
Letting go of her face, he turned away from her.

Leaving in a rush, to go do something she would never ask about.
